Book Fair!!

Finger Painting!


We had so much fun finger painting this week!  After reading the book, Clarabella's Teeth we made big crocodile-sized toothbrushes! First we finger-painted the handle, then we cut the bristles.  Poor Clarabella will now be able to brush all of her teeth at the same time.

Teeth!

We talked about how to brush our teeth today!  We practiced on the GIANT choppers!






ECFE sledding Night...I mean Gym night!

The temperatures were FRIGID on Tuesday night so we weren't able to have our sledding night.  We did, however, get the little gym and have some BIG fun!

ECFE

We have been having a lot of fun in ECFE!  Last week we made Love Bugs and painted with toilet paper tubes!  We also had fun just playing with friends!!






We were so lucky to have Tammy come and read to our class!  We learned all about Feet!

Fun Frigid Science!


There are some fun experiments that can be done when the temperatures are so cold!  They take only seconds and are just so fun to watch!  We did one this morning at my house!  Take BOILING water and throw it up in the air.  It turns instantly into steam!  So cool!  Next try and blow some bubbles outside.  They will freeze and shatter.  These are perfect experiments to do for your kids and they don't even need to go outside to see it!  Here is a video of the boiling water:
